Hi there! My name is Veronica, the Soap Lady! I am a single mother of two amazing teenagers, who I support 100% financially ~ so in buying my soaps, not only do you get an amazing quality product, you can also delight in knowing that the proceeds of your sale are going to help support our family.

I haven’t always been the Soap Lady. I consider it my own personal stimulus package! I am/was a successful real estate appraiser for more than two decades, until the bottom fell out, like it has for so many in our current economic climate. To say I was fearful is an understatement. Raising two kids with very little income goes beyond fear to a place of quiet, resolute, absolute terror. The paralyzing fear has dissipated, as I have learned to live with the uncertainty, rely on others, receive, and allow myself to be cradled in loving kindness by some dear friends.Serendipity led me to making soaps. My friend Carlos (www.get-scents.com) purchased a start up kit for me to be a consultant for Scentsy Wickless Candles. I wanted to grow that business by selling the products at street fairs, yet its mail order quality required that I sell another product along with it. So I asked my dear friend and soap maker, Laura Swanson, if I could buy soaps from her wholesale. She gave me the recipe and told me to make it myself! (Stay tuned as Laura’s soap dishes are added to the product line ~ they're beautiful!)

I found my niche  making soaps. Aromatherapy has always been an interest of mine, so blending the oils to create scents is my favorite part! I believe in the healing property of herbs and know that I’m doing right in the world by filling it with high quality soaps that are made affordable to be enjoyed by so many people.
